our story
The FAM began as Family Accommodation Management, because we focussed on hosting family stays and we’re a business built by working Mums alongside growing families.

To us it meant treating property owners and guests like family, with exceptional care and attention. As our business grew, our name took on new meaning as guests began writing in reviews that they truly felt part of the FAM when they stayed with us.
Our owners, many of whom came to us from other agencies, told us they felt the difference being a part of our FAM. Our valuable network of cleaners and trades began saying they felt valued and inspired working as part of The FAM. That level of service, trust and partnership evolved our brand in a way we are extremely proud of.

Based in Newcastle and Jervis Bay respectively, Carly and Mel are the business partners behind The FAM.

Our experience and expertise brings together skills in real estate, marketing, cleaning, hospitality and customer service, whilst as holiday property owners ourselves (and avid travellers), we truly understand the importance of getting it right.
